I really enjoyed this story. Quite different; loved the family that was created, even if it was Jack's dream; I actually felt a little sad when he came back to reality and realized it had been a dream. My only thought is why did it take the SGC 10 years to find a way to retrieve them - even if this was a dream or maybe that was intentional since it was a dream?
Author's Response: You got it right, Janice. The entire story was supposed to have a believable, but dream-like quality... kind of too good to be true, since it was a dream. And I'm really happy that you were sad to find out that it was a dream... although that sounds kind of perverse, but it means that you got a taste of what Jack was feeling, his gut-wrenching realization that his perfect life, where he became the man he wanted to be, wasn't reality. Thank you for reviewing. I appreciate the effort and the kind words.

That was a tad depressing but I'm glad Jack decided to redo his life. very well done.
Author's Response: but could it go any other way? I tried to present the "family" part of the story as almost perfect, a little dreamy. It was almost too good to be true, no? Thanks for reading, Dreamer22, and for reviewing.

That. Was. Amazing.
Probably one of the best I've read... honestly, really REALLY good. I loved it. Not only was it well written but the story line was excellent and I just generally loved the whole thing! Thanks for such a great story!!
Author's Response: Thank you, Sam. I've been told that the transition from part 1 to part 2 is a little rough, but I really appreciate your kind review.
